This is our second home and we have been fortunate to have renters who treat it with respect. Sea Oaks is a very quiet community, and owners and renters keep the noise down to respect the neighbors. This is not a party house, it's for people who love tranquility, the beach and tennis.

I am a writer -- a refugee from the newspaper business. My wife and son and I live in Yardley, PA, a Philadelphia suburb. With our son now an engineering student at Cornell, we'll divide our time between Yardley, Sea Oaks and a new place we're building outside Bozeman, Montana.

Why This Property?
We are all avid tennis players, and we searched high and low for a vacation community that offered high-quality tennis rather than a couple of courts tucked into an odd corner. We like the beach and prefer it quiet, not paved with oily bodies and commotion. By law, there are no high-rise buildings in Vero, and the area is a bit out of the way. If you've vacationed at the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach,
