We consider our beach condo our home away from home and have furnished it for the enjoyment of our family. Back home, I am a triathlete that also enjoys hiking with my two weimaraners. We have been searching for a mountain property for years. The Blue Mountain Hideaway was the perfect fit for us to fulfill our yearning to be near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, yet not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of nearby towns. Townsend Tennessee is a lovely, small town, fulfilling all the basic amenities yet offering a much slower pace. This was the perfect mix for us as we crave a much simpler life than the daily grind of our big city. I have been coming to the Smoky Mountains for 40 years and still find there is so much to explore. Being just 6 miles from the park, we can enjoy a morning hike, a bike ride through Cades Cove or a swim at one of the many water falls. We love it our Blue Mountain Hideaway.
