Fuego Del Mar is situated on a four acre waterfront estate on the unspoiled north shore of Roatan. This elegant but casual villa overlooks the turquoise-blue waters of the lagoon and nearby reef. The villa shares the estate with the two other villas but is situated on the property to provide maximum privacy. Style and casual elegance characterize the decor and ambience of Fuego Del Mar. Surrounded by all the modern conveniences, you’ll feel right at home while gazing out over the ever-changing blue of the Caribbean.
Living Areas
The centerpiece of the house is the large dining area open on all four sides to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as well as the ever constant cooling breezes.
The great room is delightfully furnished using artisan antiques from Guatemala and Bali. It is equipped with satellite television, stereo with iPod connection, and DVD player. If you intend to use the internet while at Fuego Del Mar, please bring your own wi-fi enabled laptop. A conventional “phone” modem will not work in this location. A small library of contemporary novels and an eclectic collection of music CDs are available for guests’ use.
Hardwood and terra-cotta floors throughout.
The pool area has a powder room, bar fridge and gas bar-b-q.
The gourmet kitchen furnished with stainless steel Viking appliances, including an ice-maker. A complete selection of utensils are available for your use
Laundry room fully equipped with washer and dryer. Maid and personal laundry service is provided three times a week.
Bedrooms
The four bedrooms each contain a dressing area and en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned.
The master suite has a large private deck overlooking the sea with a stone-walled outdoor shower. A huge bathtub beckons for soaking after a day in the sun or on the water. The is plenty of closet space and a dressing area The master suite contains a king size bed. A television set with satellite connection is available.
Two guest bedrooms face the sea, with incredible views from their outdoor seating area. The large infinity pool is just a few steps from the suites One of these roms has a queen bed the other a queen and a single bed.
The unique Tower bedroom has wonderful views from its porch up above the gardens. It has one queen and one single bed and an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
Staff
For your security and assistance, there is a live-in caretaker on the grounds as well as two overnight security guards. Security is provided 24/7.
Maid and personal laundry service is provided three times a week.
Other staff available on call are a chauffeur, chef, boat captain, and masseuse

As a special promotion, your stay at Villas del Mar includes the use of one of our vehicles at no additional charge. In case of accident guests are responsible for the deductible and anything over the insured limit in terms of injuries/loss of life for not at fault third party accident victims. This will be negotiated with the local authorities not with Villas del Mar. We highly recommend using the driver at night or while driving after drinks.
Our resident staff offers basic cooking services on a labor-only basis. Costs are $25.00 for breakfast and lunch, $30.00 for dinner, including meal preparation, table-setting, serving and cleaning up. This rate is for groups of up to six; larger groups will be charged a slightly higher rate. A collection of menus is provided for your approval. Arrange your meals on an as needed basis, and please pay the chef directly.

All additional services; ie, Chef, Spa, Boat Charter, Chaffeur, Pizza Night, Gift Shop, must be paid in cash at time of service. Sorry, they cannot accept credit cards, checks or travelers checks

• Guests may NOT reconfigure TV or sound systems for any reason.
• Be advised, passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months past your last day of international travel (ie your return home date).
• We recomend guests taking travel insurance.
• Only the number of guests listed on the rental agreement will be accommodated.
• Any boat charters cancelled by guests within 2 hours of departure will incur a $50 charge to compensate boat captain.

Over the years they, along with a sister built two more villas, Mariposa del Mar and Brisa del Mar, on the property for personal and family use. When the family and friends are not here in Roatan we offer the villas to you for your enjoyment. This property is much more like home than a hotel. Roatan is convenient to the US with direct flights from Atlanta, Huston, Newark, Miami and several other cities in the States. It is so convenient for friends and family to get together here and enjoy the sun, sea, boat, spa and golf.
