The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and modern appliances. There is a washer/dryer in the closet. The bathroom has a tub with shower. The cabin is heated with a gas woodstove plus baseboard heat.

Guests may cook in, grill out, or dine at one of our local restaurants. Guests may also order a farm to table dinner from nearby Stone & Thistle Farm delivered to your chalet.
The large surround deck has a screened in porch in the back under the trees. Although the cabin is enveloped by trees, the front of the chalet has a spacious view of the 2-acre meadow with fields and neighboring mountains beyond. The big campfire out front is just for you, as are the stars.

Why This Property?
My idea of retirement from my private practice was to build a retreat center in the mountains. A friend of mine and i found 70 beautiful wooded acres with a spacious post and beam cabin on it. We added a modern kitchen, trails and a labyrinth, a couple of yurts and 'opened shop' as a lodging and retreat center.

The chalet cabin has a wrap-around deck with rocking chairs, screened in porch for comfortable dining, balcony off the loft. The chalet cabin also has wrap-around windows and skylights. So there are lots of ways to see the wonderful views....of the woods and meadow and fields and mountains. A perfect place to unplug (even tho we have wi-fi.
