We've hosted many foster children and have dozens more nieces and nephews who frequently stay with us. We embrace the following saying by Mahatma Gandhi: "I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any." We wanted a place to host extended family and friends where we could enjoy the comforts of home and the amenities of a first-class resort, close to Disney World, Universal Studios, and other Orlando attractions. A leading decorator took our plans and made the home sparkle with the subtle "Frozen" theme. We wanted rooms that would make our grandchildren giggle with anticipation to stay here, while not being overwhelmingly themed after a day at the theme parks. We insisted on comfortable beds and couches, TVs in each bedroom, a fully-stocked kitchen, a private screened in splash pool with a lanai for outdoor dining, laundry room, reliable WiFi, ...and then we added extra touches that make it an oasis within a luxury resort. Paradise Palms is one of the closest resorts to Disney World and it's a destination on it's own with beautiful grounds, pools, a clubhouse, a 50 seat theatre, meeting space and game rooms, tennis courts, kids pool and playgrounds, an exercise facility, a convenience store, concierge services, ... and a feature unique to this resort: the Boardwalk, which offers a Florida-Everglades style adventure walk! This security gated resort offers easy access to main roads and freeways leading to many Florida attractions. We're an hour away from beaches, minutes from theme parks, close to shopping, convenient to convention facilities,... while being located on a quiet lane, the newest area within Paradise Palms Resort. We have a full-time property manager who is very responsive to guest needs. We've received only 5-star reviews from our guests. Comfortable beds was our first priority! We added larger than normal TVs, extra kitchen gadgets, games, DVDs, and books for all ages. And we're in a luxury resort! Paradise on Ice is the newest rental home in Paradise Palms Resort. It's on a quiet lane with unique access to the Boardwalk, which is a wonderful adventure that other guests staying at older areas of the resort don't even know about. This lane also has quicker access to main streets and freeways, cutting down travel time. The subtle and tasteful decorating allows for children to stay in character-themed rooms, but adults are comfortable staying in the rooms, too. The private pool area is more private than many within this or other resorts. You have the view of Florida greenery and tropical flowers (rather than another person's pools). We have beach towels, a good selection of DVDs, games, and books for guest use as well as more kitchen gadgets than are normally found in rental homes. And the beds are so comfortable that guests often ask us where they can purchase them for their homes. We have a guest book where local residents and guests have listed special tips about the area and there's a special cookbook with more tips from seasoned vacation home renters. There's also a basket full of brochures and maps as well as a guestbook with helpful information. We selected our property manager due to her emphasis on thoroughly cleaning homes and her excellent response time to guest requests. Paradise on Ice was designed for comfort, while being beautiful.
If you want to stay on a quiet lane in a comfortable home---and be within minutes of Disney World and other Orlando attractions, Paradise on Ice is the vacation home for you!
