Our group of 4 families - 8 adults and 6 kids - spent NYE at Sunset Shores and loved it. The house was everything we wanted and needed: large spaces to hang out, entertainment for adults and kids alike, outdoor areas for games, comfortable furniture, private bathrooms, amazing kitchen - WITH EVERYTHING, and some quiet spaces to get away from the group. Jo Ann and her property manager, Greg, were very easy to work with and quick to get back to us leading up to the trip and while we were there. We hope to be back for another celebratory weekend.
We rented the house for our annual girls weekend and there were 11 of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sunset Shores is the nicest and most well appointed home that we’ve rented. The house is amazing inside and out, is beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous lake front view! The boathouse with screened porch was awesome. The rec-room had a kitchen, huge movie screen, great for binge watching our favorite series, a pool table, kitchen with ice maker, the list goes on and on! All of the bedrooms were spacious with beautiful attached bathrooms, including the huge bunk room. The kitchen was huge, well stocked, has two of every major appliance, a wine refrigerator, ice maker, freezer, etc. and beautiful! We can’t say enough about Sunset Shores, other than we can’t wait to go back! Oh and I can’t forget the folks at Home Escape, Jo Ann was wonderful to work with and Greg was helpful and available to provide assistance once we arrived. Overall it was a great experience and a wonderful weekend away.
This house and location were amazing!!! We loved every minute of our vacation there. So much to do right on the property - boating, swimming, paddle boards, kayak, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. Boat house was a great place to hang out. The kitchen had everything you would ever want to use which made it nice since we ate in all the time. Thank you so much for letting us rent it.
This house had it all! The kids ages 8-17 had an endless choice of activities and the adults were spoiled with modern touches and an incredible home. Everything was top notch from the music through the main house, outdoor spaces and boathouse to the pool table, volleyball court and lake toys. The lake mat, kayaks, paddle boards and dock were perfect and the protected cove felt like a secure area for the kids to explore. There was so much to do right on property at Sunset Shores - we never had to leave! Owner and property manager were extremely responsive to all questions. We can't wait to return! This was the most luxurious and well appointed house we have ever rented! Absolutely awesome!
This house was just what our extended family needed during this crazy time! Sunset Shores was thoughtfully designed to accommodate groups (we had 13 people) with its fully appointed kitchen, ample refrigerator and freezer space, two ovens, ice makers, dishwashing and laundry machines. We never left for the entire week and enjoyed the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards and swimming. The fire pit was terrific for s'mores at night. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms and we made wonderful new family memories. Thank you!
