In New Orleans we call it a “shotgun, camel-back.” That means each room comes after first in succession. There is a second floor that is only half as long as the first floor, forming the camel’s back. This is true New Orleans flavor!

The neighborhood:
Centrally located without being in the middle of everything. Several billion dollars of new construction hospitals have gone up 5 blocks away.
The neighborhood is mixed-income. If this is your first time in New Orleans or don’t know how to handle yourself in an urban non-tourist area, maybe reconsider. However, if you know that you don’t need to walk down every dark alley and know the major roads, you will have no problem.
Getting around:
0.9 mile walk to the French Quarter.
$1.25 and 10 minutes from my home to the French Quarter by street car.
$5-10 and 5 minutes by cab to get back.
Short drive or bike ride to Mid-City restaurants and shopping.

- Bookings cancelled at minimum 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

Reviews
This place is perfect for a large group due to back yard space and plenty of places to sleep. Location was perfect as well allowing us to either walk to the trolley which is only 2 blocks away or get a 10 minute Uber to the french quarter. Isaac was very easy to get a hold of and was very hospitable. At one point there was a leak in the vent however it was quickly addressed and not a problem for the rest of our stay.
This house was perfect for my friends and me. You want to uber most places but it's totally worth it!
Great house for a few couples or 5-7 friends. Off of the quarter was nice because it was quiet but close enough to get a quick Uber to. Walking distance to a few places, including Parkway Bakery and Tavern, which had great Po Boy sandwiches. Felt safe and had a nice private backyard. Would stay again
House was great for our stay. Isaac was quick to help us out when needed. Neighborhood was fine for us. No issues walking around at all. Beds were comfy and the house its self was very clean and had a great feel too it.
