As always, this place has lots about it that keeps us wanting to come back. The stay is always good and have never had an issue. It is a great place for family and friends. Even through hard times the Owner has been gracious and appreciative, and we're happy to be guests whenever we can.
We've been coming to Mi Casa Sue Casa for many years. There is plenty of room in the driveway for two enclosed trailers. We've also brought kayaks to navigate some of the many waterways around. I like being within running distance from Umpqua Lighthouse State Park. We continually choose this location because of the proximity to the dunes, hot tub and marina.
- This vacation home has everything we were looking for. Close to the water and the dunes, ample parking area, hot tub and fire pit, home is warm and spacious. Looking forward to our return visit this year and in the years to come
We absolutely loved this house location! You won't find any other place to hold a large group a people, park all your quads, trucks, trailers, and toys, and have direct dune access! Plus, the hot tub was cool! We hope to make it back again soon! Thanks!
Our group (6 Marines and 1 squid) has stayed here about a half-dozen times. We bring boat, crab rings, and fishing gear--plenty of room for all. Washer and dryer are a plus. Outside covered fire ring and BBQ see a lot of action. Huge deck and outside seating (for crab cleaning) is great. Two bathrooms is nice and the kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook in. We tried one other place one year (due to my tardy scheduling) and it didn't measure up. It's just a great place, so near to so many thins, plus, for me a bit of nostalgia--my Dad was the minister of the Baptist Church here when I was in 7th and 8th grade (1966-68). So many times during the summer my brothers and I would walk/hitch down to the beach, then traipse over the dunes to Lake Marie to wash off the salt water, then walk/hitch back home--it was a tough life. We cleaned fish from the small commercial boats down on the docks to make a little cash. Grandparents had a beach lot at Heceta beach in Florence and before that we camped in Honeyman every year. Great area of the coast--and you'll not be disappointed renting this CASA!
