Cocoa Butter is part of the Islander Condominiums, and is centrally located in Avon on the ocean side of Highway 12 next to the Avon Fishing Pier - and within walking distance of a number of local shops and restaurants. Take advantage in-season of the community pool, or walk 100 steps to the beach. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo offers ocean views, is tastefully decorated and has a full-sized washer and dryer, central A/C, and telephone. Kitchen is well-equipped for families of six, including a breakfast bar. Sorry, no pets!
Check-in/out days are Saturday to Saturday. During the off season we accept mini-vacations, 3 or 4 days, but in-season Spring, Summer, and Fall is a minimum of 7 days. Some exceptions may be made within 2 weeks of an open date.

However, if the unit is not re-rented, you will be responsible for the entire rental amount plus tax. Additionally, if the property has not been re-rented and the leaseholder wishes to reinstate the reservation at any time after we receive the cancellation in writing, we will reinstate the reservation for a fee of $100 plus all applicable taxes.

The OBX are quiet, with little of the hustle found in the Jersey shore or other East Coast beaches. Avon is very family friendly, and most businesses are open and closed early - and year-round. Lots to do in neighboring villages as well, with a short ride to both Kitty Hawk north and Hatteras Village south - then a quick ferry ride to Okracoke.

We came to the Outer Banks for the first time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It is a nice and affordable place. So close to the beach! Decor is really cute. Only negative is the building has no elevator. Lugging everything up stairs at night was exhausting. Overall though we enjoyed it and the Outer Banks are gorgeous!!
