Our family has had a cottage at Silver Lake for 20+ years, and have loved every minute! We understand the importance of building family memories. The children and grandchildren grow up so quickly, and the time goes by so fast...we see the importance of spending time together as a family.

Why This Property?

Silver Lake is beautiful anytime of the year, but summer is amazing!

There are two cottages on this beautiful lake front property, located at 9328 West Silver Lake Road, with 100' of frontage: Memory Lane (#90531886) sleeps up to 10 people, so join with another family and begin to build some wonderful memories. Hope's Place (#99979440) is a quaint cottage filled with open rafter character and sleeps 6 people. You can book just one, or both. Generally, rentals are from Friday to Friday, but feel free to check other dates, and we will do what we can to make it work for you.

There are so many activities you can do such as hiking over the dunes to Lake Michigan, biking on the Hart-Montague Bike Trail (22 miles), swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, golfing, playing with your dune vehicle in the sand, visiting beautiful Pentwater, take a tour of the Little Sable Lighthouse (only a couple of miles away), tubing down the river from Stony Lake out to Lake Michigan.

Mac Wood Dune Rides is within walking distance if you would like to take a ride in the dunes.

The activities are almost endless...but there is also the quiet of just sitting by the water with a good book and soak up the sun. Silver Lake is ideal for families with smaller children to play in because of the beautiful soft sand, and it stays shallow for a long distance.

There is a dock for you to moor your boat to, if you choose to bring one along. We also have a paddle boat and 6 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for your use. These are shared with both cottages and our family, so times may have to be worked out.
