Q: What constitutes "damage" and a forfeiture of the Damage Deposit?
A: TihsreeD Lodge is a luxury rental that is nicely appointed. We strive to maintain the Lodge in great condition so all of our guests can enjoy the beauty and magic of their Colorado adventure. We understand the normal wear and tear is to be expected, however there are certain items that will result in an automatic forfeiture of the Damage Deposit. These include but are not limited to:
Riding and/or driving any vehicle on the property where is it not intended. Specifically all vehicles must remain on either the driveway or the path. TihsreeD Lodge is part of the Colorado State Forestry program and as such we must follow strict rules set our by the Forestry Service - staying on designated paths is a must for all vehicles.
Wearing outdoor shoes inside the Lodge. The majority of Lodge is hardwood floors and there is a tremendous amount of decomposing granite throughout the property, tracking granite can produce disastrous results.
Smoking inside the Lodge - enough said.
Allowing pets or animals inside The Lodge. See Pet Policy Below.

A: No pets of any kind are allowed in The Lodge. If you choose to bring pets you must notify us in advance and follow these rules:
One (1) pet is allowed in The Apartment; it must be kenneled when not attended.
Two (2) pets are allowed in The Cabin; however pets must be properly socialized and not cause disruptions. They must be kenneled when not attended. All pet waste must be properly picked up and disposed of - we request that you respect our property and pick up after your pet. Do NOT use "people" dishes from TihsreeD for feeding or watering your pet.

We always discussed the possibility of entering the lodging business and in 2010 decided to go for it. We have had a wonderful time sharing the lodge and meeting wonderful people from all over the world. We would enjoy hosting you during your Colorado adventure.

It is uncommon to find a spot so private, yet with so much space. Large groups can enjoy the time together, yet have room for private time to reflect. There is something magical about being away from the hustle and bustle of everyday and having time to really build relationships.
Our guests leave with a real Colorado experience. They have had wonderful mountain air, water and views. Guest leave with a Rocky Mountain high in their head and their hearts.

We needed somewhere large enough for our family and friends coming from out of town to gather and stay to celebrate my son's graduation. The lodge was big enough for all of us to spend quality time together and enjoy the awesome views and still find a quiet nook to rest or read. The barn was perfect for the graduation party itself. We had plenty of room for food, family, friends, and a live band. Before and after the graduation it was fun to hike and explore the property and observe the wildlife.

The views from this place are amazing. I attended a wedding here in August and had a great stay. The home is huge, beautifully decorated and has three living rooms. We all had a lot of space to hang out together and plenty of room when we needed to rest or relax. The owner of the place was also the officiant at the wedding. He was wonderful... very helpful and friendly, but seemed to disappear until you needed something, then there he was! Beautiful floor to ceiling windows on the main level and lots of fireplaces/firepits to enjoy. The wood was free and they encouraged us to burn as much as we wanted. It got down into the 50s every night, so we had several fires in the outdoor fireplace. I would love to come back for a couples weekend to the beautiful home.
