Marilyn's place is like a little piece of heaven tucked away in the mountains. Spacious, clean and amazing views! We had a family reunion and there was more then enough room for everyone to be comfortable! The porches on this home were my favorite. Perfect place to read a book and take in the fresh mountain air while being surrounded by amazing views. Loved our stay here!

My girlfriends and I ( 6 people) stayed at the property for a long weekend. The drive from the main street to the house was very pretty. The views were amazing on both, the front and back of the house. The house was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics to make your stay easy. Plenty outside space to enjoy the views and for children to play. We saw several wild bunnies enjoying the grass and playing around. The house has a double garage, which was great to leave the items we did not need inside the house and to park the car when we returned after dark. The neighborhood was very quiet however we did not feel isolated inside the mountains, which was very important to us for obvious reasons. The drive from the house to the grocery store and local restaurants was easy (15 minutes). There was also a gas station as soon as you exit the property road. We also visited the Biltmore in Asheville, 30 minutes drive from the property. The owner was very attentive and answered all our questions promptly. We had a wonderful time at your house. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

All the basic needs were there was us. The only thing extra we had to get were some toilet paper and trash bags. The place is really cozy and feels like home. I would definitely go back when I get the chance!

An amazing place for an amazing vacation

Just got home a few days ago from a week at your beautiful home. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. This home is everything a large family (or 2) could want in a place to stay in Western North Carolina. Between the Apple Tree in the backyard, the 5 horses just behind, fireflies at night for the kids to chase, cows (and I'm pretty sure a black bear) seen far in the distance from the back deck, the home alone is perfect for a getaway. The 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) were able to take advantage of everything this home had to offer, including great nights grilling on the back deck before finishing the night with a bottle of wine and some good music sitting on rocking chairs outside staring up at the stars (no light pollution out here!). And convenient to pretty much everything we wanted to do, from seeing the Biltmore mansion, to Pisgah Forest (and the Great Sliding Rock), Cherokee, Maggy Valley, etc. We've never been to North Carolina and this was kind of an "impulse buy" vacation but it was so worth it! We can't wait to come back again soon. Great owner, so accessible, anyone that is thinking of Western North Carolina should spend time at this home (except when we want to stay there again!). Thank you thank you!

Everview is spacious enough for eight guests allowing for groups of friends, families and extended families to vacation together, yet cozy enough for couples, too. Everything you need to spend your time away from home is included in our well-stocked home. We do our best to supply our cabin for guests the way we would like it equipped ourselves. Provided are many things that other cabins in the area do not such as: cleaning products, trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing tablets, laundry supplies, spices, condiments, etc. And if you're traveling with little ones, do not worry about packing a bulky playpen or high chair. We have those available for you along with plastic children's dinnerware and utensils. A safety gate is also provided to use at the staircase.
