Your very own village houses, gardens and vines, close to the tourist action in Beaune etc but nestled in peace, quiet and luxury amidst the best white wine vineyards in the world - now with the added charm of being within a UNESCO World Heritage site! Having said this, it is also within walking distance of two Michelin starred restaurants, wine bars and bistros!
Imagine having the space to spread out a little - grand parents in one house and the younger generations in the other. Or grown ups in one house with children and nanny in the other... the combinations are endless.
You will have two spacious living areas (one with a discretely positioned TV), two very well equipped kitchens and five bathrooms, but the capability to come together, via a dozen easy steps, comfortably to eat, drink and have fun (inside or out) too.
Here is our description...
A very spacious but cosy, lovingly refurbished, traditional vigneron's house in two parts which sleeps 10 in the very heart of wine making country, in Puligny Montrachet, near Beaune, Burgundy.
The house is very traditional, but the plumbing, the kitchen amenities and the size and comfort of the beds are not!
The whole property consists of the Main House and the Little House which were originally a family house and its granny annex, separated by a very thick Burgundian stone wall, so well insulated from each other (and the cold/heat).
The houses are in fact approximately the same floor area, it's just that the "Little House" is on two storeys, so its footprint is smaller.
The Main House has three luxury bedrooms each with its own uniquely styled en suite plus a separate bathroom with cast iron roll top bath.
The Little House has two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with large walk-in shower.
Both houses were completely renovated to offer luxury accommodation, combining original features with modern facilities, including some very atypical plumbing (ie powerful 'Raindance' showers)!!
We like to be comfortable, with lots of space, large beds, luxury bedding and mattresses, a kitchen made for entertaining and the rest of it. This is our holiday home, so it includes all of the features that we love.
Our architect is obsessed with getting the greatest amount of natural light into a home as she can possibly manage, and she has managed this particularly well! This adds to the feeling of light and space in both properties.

As an extra treat, we have connections with wine makers, and experts in the area who may be able to offer you, (sometimes at a modest cost and as convenient for you), a completely bespoke experiences and consultations on your voyage of discovery...
We can help you to organise visits to special wineries, private wine tastings in the house accompanied by the finest local food, inside information on the best restaurants to suit all budgets, fun wine education sessions etc.
But this is your choice. You will be equally happy if you want to run under your own steam.
The main house, which we update every year comprises:
Three spacious double bedrooms with deeply comfortable mattresses and classic décor, each with a luxury en suite shower room. Each bedroom is individually designed to reflect a season of the year in Burgundy.
A separate family bathroom, overlooking the vines, with a cast iron roll top bath and stone and marble tiling.
A large open plan, bright living room with a fully fitted American-style modern kitchen. We have designed this space with conviviality in mind so that you can cook and interact with friends at the same time or share a wine tasting at the central island. Extra little luxuries include the wine fridge, the Krups espresso coffee maker and also the filter coffee maker.
The dining table in the Main House seats 10 so that everyone can dine together.
There is a very large private terrace just outside the front door with a large table and chairs where you can relax and have an outdoor meal, a quiet aperitif in the evening or simply watch the village life go by or gaze over the Montrachet vineyards.
The garden is large, verdant, peaceful and totally private. It provides both sun and shady spots as you wish. Two large bistro-style garden tables and 10 chairs, eight comfortable recliners, a large 'bistro' sun shade and outdoor lighting are there for guests' use.
To the rear of our house is our small vineyard - the 'vininch' as we like to call it. It boasts the only red grapes in the village (those of you who are into your wine will know the reason for that!!).
There are laundry and ironing facilities, a secure storage space for your wine, and secure off street parking.
We have WiFi broadband and sound system and a very low-key television! Get to know each other again instead of using all that kit... Or use your wireless devices to pick your own web based entertainment.
The central heating keeps it warm in winter and the very thick walls keep it cool in the summer and quiet all year round.
The Little House - also refreshed every year...
The Little House (which is not so little!) comprises:
Two classic and spacious double bedrooms with deeply comfortable mattresses and unique décor. The rooms in this house reflect French-speaking countries, Mali, Senegal, Tunisia...
A fully up to date bathroom with a spacious and powerful 'Raindance' walk-in shower.
A large and airy through living/dining room with views over both our vineyard at the back, and the front terrace.
A separate fully fitted modern kitchen also with views over our vineyard.

The owner of this property requires a 25% down payment to reserve and full payment 60 days before check-in.
Amounts once paid are not refundable unless we achieve a replacement booking. You pay a deposit immediately and then the balance of the rental amount two months before arrival. Outstanding and lovely property! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking to experience a real French wine experience in a lovely part of France this is the place for you! Fantastic property very well maintained and of high quality! Everything you could want is included at the house and the owners provide you all of the help you could possibly need to make your stay a trip of a life time. We were a party of 7 and rented the entire property which more than provided enough space for all of us for both sleeping and bathrooms. If you have traveled in Europe you probably expect small bathrooms and especially showers but that is not the cas at all here, walk in showers with rain head fixtures will make you feel right at home. No issue with enough hot water for 7 either! Linens were of high quality and the house is completely lovely in the decorative style throughout the house! We celebrated a special birthday as well as an engagement and the owners went above and beyond in making our celebrations wonderful. They provided assistance in making reservations at a 3 Star Michelin restaurant that was the food experience of a lifetime. Wine tours/tastings, bike rides thru the French countryside and magical memories are just a few things you will experience staying at this property! I loved it and plan on returning in the future! Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum. Es fehlt an nichts und man kann sehen, dass es die Eigentümer mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet haben. Wir reisen sehr viel und waren schon in sehr vielen Ferienwohnungen, Häusern und Hotels. Noch nie wurden wir so positiv überascht. Die Küche ist ein Traum. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein separates Bad. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer ist super gemütlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Ich muss auch aufhören jetzt zu schwärmen, denn sonst bleibt dieses Schmuckstück kein Geheimnis mehr. Diejenigen die dieses Haus buchen, werden einen der schönsten Urlaube in ihrem Leben darin verbringen.
Dear Peter and Lucy, We had a wonderful family Christmas at 10pm! None of us have space for the whole family to comfortably stay together, so this luxurious home allowed three generations currently living in three countries on two continents to get together for a love, laughter and fun-filled holiday! We enjoyed Christmas markets, wine tastings, mustard tastings, the Beaune market and the glorious food and wine. Everyone from the 17 month old to the 69 year olds had an absolutely fantastic time! A special thank you for the holiday basket and personalised recommendations of seasonal markets and activities. We will definitely recommend 10pm to our friends and hope to be able to visit again! As much as Peter and Lucy have tried to capture the quality of 10 PM on their website we were surprised by the quality of its appointments on our arrival. We found our every need provided for, the layout of the house functional, very comfortable and there is great attention to detail. 10 PM was immaculately clean on our arrival. From the welcome basket, well stocked pantry, soap powder for the washing machine, charcoal for the BBQ, etc, it is all there. We were only two couples but three would reside in great comfort and privacy. Located just a short distance from the village centre there are a number of restaurants from which to choose if you do not wish to use the gourmet kitchen. The surrounding villages also offer dining alternatives which we did visit but we for the most part chose to dine in and enjoy the warm family feel of the kitchen/family room. Bicycles provided a fun way to explore the vineyards and nearby villages and proved that you never do really forget how to ride. We used 10 Pm as a base to explore Burgundy by car and found it well located so that we could cover most of the region on quality roads in little time. It was a chance to visit the many treasures of Burgundy and return to a comfortable home in the evening. One feels that 10 Pm is loved and cared for as a home but you do not feel your imposing on someone's treasure. We have no hesitation in recommending 10 PM and know you will be pleasantly surprised on arrival.
Sometimes you get lucky and discover a holiday home that matches the description and the pictures, in the case of 10pm it exceeded our expectations. Everything was there for us, including a welcome basket. From the time of booking we knew it would be good, the owners, Peter and Lucy are a delight to communicate with. Extensive information of the house is provided prior to arrival. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. A Plancha electric BBQ was a pleasant surprise, no fiddling around with coals. The kitchen is well equipped, appliances and white goods around the house are of good quality as are the glasses (important!) crockery and cooking equipment. The beds are very comfortable, the supplied linen is excellent. The Wifi really works well and the Internet phone a very welcome bonus....I ramble on too long...you get the drift. We availed ourselves of the services of Pascal Wagner....we are so glad we did, Pascal is a delight, we learned so much about wine in a fun, convivial way. We enjoyed the restaurants he recommended and enjoyed his company. Puligny is a small, quiet village, there are four restaurants and wine bar. Our favourite is Estaminet...good food and lovely people. I should be keeping all this information to myself, however that wouldn't be fair on Peter and Lucy. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we love your/our house in Puligny.
