When my sister lived in Scottsdale we made many trips to the Valey of the Sun. Finally we started looking for some real estate to invest in and we discovered Fountain Hills. At that time (we're talking 1992) nowadays Shea Blvd. was just a tiny street with one lane for each direction but we instantly fell in love with this small mountainous town which is always a couple of degrees cooler in summert

When my sister lived in Scottsdale we made many trips to the Valey of the Sun. Finally we started looking for some real estate to invest in and we discovered Fountain Hills. At that time (we're talking 1992) nowadays Shea Blvd. was just a tiny street with one lane for each direction but we instantly fell in love with this small mountainous town which is always a couple of degrees cooler in summertime and is surrounded by unspoiled, beautiful Sonoran desert. Although my family couldn't understand that we are not buying in Scottsdale we acquired our first lot, and then in 1994 our vacation home "El Pueblo Ranch", followed by the adjacent lot to save the gorgeous views. Since I was a kid I have been into Native American History and it was like a dream come true to spend more time in the land of Apache, Navajo and other great tribes. My husband and I love exploring the desert on horseback, swimming in the pool and hiking the numerous trails in the immediate surroundings - finishing a day in the outdoors with a tasty BBQ and an ice cold beer- this is vacation to us.
Why This Property?
You "feel" your destination the moment you enter the home. The whole house has been tastefully furnished in Southwestern whitewash style. The light colors are complemented by lots of Native American Art, paintings, Mexican glassware, ..... My professional background is luxury travel which is why I have a passion for detail I guess.

The huge patio and backyard showcase awesome, absolutely unobstructed panoramic views of Four Peaks, private pool and elevated spa from which you can marvel at the impressive desert landscape while sipping at your favorite beverage. The large backyard has a separate grassy area which is ideal for guests who bring their dog. Being a dog owner ourselves we understand that these "fur children" are part of the family which is why our property is pet friendly.
We welcomed guests from all over the world, many of them became loyal repeaters and even friends.

Wow !! We couldn't have found a better place to stay.

The owner Sabine and her sister Beate we very good about keeping in contact with us and seeing that all our needs were met. This was the perfect place because we have two service dogs (labs) and not too many places want to take in dogs but Sabine said, "yes" immediately. The yard was perfect. It was separated by into three different sections so we never had to worry about the dogs getting out of the yard or near the pool. The house was very comfortable and the dogs adjusted to their new home within two days. Everything you need is supplied for you and if there is something you need the owner was able to respond quickly. The location was centrally located to grocery stores and other shopping areas. We took day trips and it was nice to be able to come back tot he house and relax after a long day. The pictures you see of the home on the internet are exactly what is there. We told Sabine that we would treat the home as if it was our own and thats what we did. This was our first time traveling with both service dogs as the younger one is still in training but all went well. Thank you Sabine for your hospitality and the use of your home.
