The main floor at the Mermaid Cottage opens into a beautiful bright foyer and straight ahead is a king master bedroom with unsurpassed decor and a private bath with a huge custom shower. As you leave the master bedroom and walk down the hall you will find the laundry room on the left that is equipped with a full size washer and dryer. The hallway then opens up into an entertaining space that flows effortlessly into the gathering room, gourmet kitchen and dining area. There is a screened porch, spacious deck and outdoor shower for your enjoyment. The screened porch is equipped with a custom bed swing that will relax all stresses away! Additionally, there is a half bath on this level for entertaining convenience and bedroom privacy.
The second floor is host to additional bedrooms including a king, queen and bunk room.
The king bedroom has its own private bath with custom tile shower. There is also a full bathroom in the hall across from the bunks and just down the hall from the queen room.
This home is ideal for families, multiple families or a couple just wanting to get away from it all. Mermaid Cottage has flat screens in every room and has wireless internet. We have four beach bikes for you to enjoy while you stay with us. This home is prepared to entertain in every situation. There is something for everyone.
When you arrive and want something to do WaterSound West has the answer! WaterSound West has more amenities than any resort around!
Boats, golf carts and trailers are banned and strictly ticketed, possibly towed, in this community.

- Puttering Park (bring your own club)
- Direct access to beach (no streets to cross or steep stairs to climb 10 minute walk / 3 minute bike ride)
- Beautiful Zero entry community pool with pool side grill! (5 minute walk / 1-2 bike ride)
- Walking paths and Meandering Boardwalks throughout that take you from the house to the pool / beach.
- 30 minute drive from Destin or Panama City
- Just a bike ride away from Seagrove, Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach

Per HOA Rules, NO bicycles are to be permitted on any boardwalks that do not have safety/hand rails on both sides. The boardwalk from the pool to the beach will be the only one bikes are permitted on within the community.

BOOKING POLICY
• A 50% Advance Deposit is due at the time of booking.
• Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
• We accept e-checks or credit cards (Additional 3.5% fee applies for all credit card transactions).
• Check-In begins at 4:00 PM CST.
• Check-Out is by 10:00 AM CST.
• Must Be 25 Or Older To Rent. We have a strict family only policy. Must have 1 adult for every 2 persons under the age of 25.
• The Damage Waiver has been charged in the event something within our property is accidentally damaged during your stay. However there is a monetary limit of coverage that varies per property. All claims must be reported and approved by management in order to be covered by the damage waiver. Please inquire as to the monetary limit this property is covered for.
• Unit typically requires a Sat-Sat stay during peak seasons
