We all had a great time! Cabin is located only 10-15 mins from gaylord and is nestled on hill overlooking a little lake with the big lake in view also. Tons of games for the kids and a hot tub and fireplace to boot. The owner was very pleasant and eager to help out in any way she could.....we will definitely go back again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear's Den. We will definitely return in the future, and strongly recommend this rental to anyone
Had an excellent winter weekend getaway with 3 couples. House is just as shown in pictures, plenty of room, and very nice decor throughout. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great long weekend and Thanksgiving dinner at this property. Everything was exactly as advertised, from the pictures to the description. The owner was prompt with emails and answers to questions, the property was in fantastic shape and very well equipped. A great place to relax. The weather didn't cooperate much for outdoor activities but we plan to try to find time in our schedule to come back and take full advantage of everything this place has to offer. Steps in and out could be an issue--but were fine for us. The property doesn't have internet access and phone service is sketchy but for us that was a good thing! Our dogs also enjoyed the property. The owners were very cooperative in letting us enjoy the weekend and bring our dogs. Recommended for: Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers
Dorene has thought of everything for the renters in this place!! We enjoyed our stay so much and couldn't have asked for anything more. What a great way to get away and relax and still be able to do it all. Typically you can sacrifice privacy when you stay on a lake but not at The Bear's Den!! You get the privacy of a wooded area w/ all the amenities of being on a lake and in assoc w/ a pool. We had the best vacation ever and hope that we can do it again and continue to make more great memories!! Dorene is the greatest!! If you are looking for a place that has it all then this is your place!!
